Access Virus TI SNOW

Virus TI Snow is the baby brother in the Access range but only in terms of its size! The sound of this diminutive little box is staggeringly awesome!

With three main oscillators each featuring a massive arsenal of waveshapes,spectral waves, formant oscillators and FM modes the TI Snow is no slouch! You then get two totally independent filter sections each featruring lowpas, highpas, bandpas and bandstop with an optional saturation mode located between the filter blocks which can add subtle distortion or lo-fi effects. Plus you get the self resonating Moog TM cascade filter with circuit overload emulation!

Modulation is provided by a six slot system each featuring 1 source and three destinations such that every parameter can be modulated in realtime. There are three Low Frequency oscillators (LFO) that have hardwired targets plus one user-defineable slot. You also get two ADSTR envelope generators for modulation.

Effects section contains independent delay and reverb per patch - EVEN WHEN IN MULTI-MODE! Plus multiple distorions chorus, flange ring modulator, vocoder and three band eq. Every patch when played in Multi-Mode sounds EXACTLY the same as it does in single Mode - thats not something many synthesizers can boast about!

The arpeggiator section has thirty two steps each with individually programmable velocity and note length and there is a global control for swing and shuffle settings. Each patch can have its own programmed arpegiator pattern.

Inputs and outputs. The Access TI Snow has two outputs at +4db sourced from two 192 Khz / 24bit DA converters with optional soft-limiting. Two inputs are also provided with 24 bit A/D plus MIDI i/o. USB provides connectivity to your computer supporting MIDI and Audio. The audio stream thru USB has up to three stereo audio outputs.

Total Integration provides the option for you to use your Virus TI Snow as a "Virtual Instrument Plug-In" inside your DAW software such as Cakewalk or Cubase. Control data is routed VIA USB to the Virus so that the Virus TI is still creating the sounds (thereby freeing up your processor) and the whole process is controlled by the Virus Control software which ensures that the audio is transferred from the Virus TI into your host program with sample-accurate resolution so that your synth sounds are just as you want them to be and not made so sound harsh and nasty by unwanted jitter problems.

All in all - everyone will want a Virus TI - it just depends on budget which one you eventually go for. The Access Virus TI synthesizer (which ever one you choose) is a must have instrument!
