The main difference between the A5 and the A5X is the inclusion of Adams new X-Art Tweeter,a groundbreaking ribbon technology that offers unsurpassed clarity and imaging, that,as the data and multiple listening tests have shown, brings them to the forefront of Tweeter technology.

A 5.5" Midwoofer reproduces the frequencies below 2.5kHz. The diaphragm is made from Carbon fiber/Rohacell/Glass fiber,a technology that is taken from its older brothers, the A7X and A8X. This materials minimal weight and maximum rigidity prevents break up resonances,resulting in an outstanding dynamic behaviour and impeccable sound characteristics.

The rear panel has controls and inputs allowing numerous possibilities to adapt the loudspeaker to the specific room acoustics or personal preferences. The Adam A5X features both balanced (XLR) and unbalanced (RCA) inputs to enable connectivity to virtually any application in the pro studio or home studio setup. A useful feature of the A5X is the Stereo-link, which allows the user to adjust the volume of both loudspeakers using just the single control knob on one of the speakers..
