Adam A77x Studio Monitor (single)

The New Adam A77x studio monitor has been designed to cater for those who need a horizontal studio monitor design at a lower price than the Adams SX series. The Adam A77x is so named as it has 2,7in drivers as opposed to the single driver design on the rest of the current AX series and shares much of the AXs technology however the A77x delivers higher performance due to its much higher maximum sound pressure levels and dynamic capabilities. So this monitor is ideal for mid-range monitoring as well as near-field monitoring.

The driver technology on the A77X features ADAMs very-own X-ART tweeter design. Which has a far extended frequency range, which, now improved is able to deliver accurate frequency response up to 50kHz. In addition, the X-ART (ribbon) tweeter can achieve higher SPLs and has a higher efficiency curve.

The two 7" drivers are the same as those in the A7X with large voice coils and powerful amps they are amazingly accurate and dynamic-sounding speakers. The woofers are arranged so as not to cover the same frequency bands: both woofers handle bass frequencies, however one of them cuts off at 400Hz allowing it to concentrate on bass frequencies - this dramatically reduces any interference between the 2 drivers.
