The ADAM A8X Studio Monitor is both very powerful and very versatile, with it being suitable for both nearfield and midfield monitoring applications.
The Adam A8X combines the X-ART tweeter and a large (8.5) midwoofer, providing an incredibly clear top end that is complemented by a deep, tight bass response providing a full range response that you can trust.
The Adam A8X is the largest in Adams AX range,and is powered accordingly, with a 50W A/B amplifier for the tweeter and a 150W PWM amplifier for the midwoofer, the A8X has power in abundance.
On the rear panel are several controls: a gain for the high frequencies (A± 4dB) and two shelf filters for the high and low frequencies.
The A8X features both XLR (balanced) and RCA (unbalanced) connectors on the rear panel of the speaker,allowing for connection with a wide range of equipment.
