The Adam S5X-V four-way vertically oriented studio monitor incorporates ADAMs proprietary X-ART folded ribbon tweeter and midrange unit, offering unsurpassed imaging and detailing.
A 12" HexaCone subwoofer drive unit with a large 3" voice coil and a heavy magnet system is incorporated within this exceptional monitor speaker, with this combination enabling the reproduction of signals down to 25Hz while remaining stable and tight. The 7.5" midwoofer utilizes a honey-comb core coated with Kevlar on both sides, offering the perfect combination of light weight and stiffness that provides a very natural,uncoloured sound.
The upper three drivers are each powered by a 250W discrete PWM amplifier,and a 500W digital amp powers the 12" subwoofer.
If you need a midfield or main monitor in the most demanding of professional recording, mixing,and surround studio applications, then the Adam A5X-V is for you.
