The ART Sync Gen from the ARTccessories range is a simple and inexpensive way to improve the performance of your digital recording system,eliminating synchronization artefacts including clicks and pops that occur when timing errors pop up in recording systems.
By utilizing a single word clock source such as the ART Sync Gen, the timing of all your units is centralized,reducing accumulated timing errors between the individual units that feature within your digital recording chain. BNC Wordclock or Coaxial SPDIF outputs make this unit incredibly versatile.
The features of the ART SyncGen just keep rolling out, the last of which is a system tester that confirms the status of BNC word-clock cables and terminations and can verify which pieces of gear are internally terminated.
