The Ashdown 427 Small Block Bass Amp Head looks as great on the inside as it does on the out, with this all tube head featuring 8 KT88 valves and 3 over-fed transformers in the output stage,and ECC83 valves in the preamp section. The silky smooth sound can be shifted to rip roaring valve tones easily, the tonal palette of this head really is incredible.
The Ashdown 427 Small Block head features High and Low gain inputs, front panel-mounted Effects Send and Return,rotary Bass, Middle and Treble controls with Mid Shift, Bass Shift and Bright switching, Mute switch,rotary Gain and Master volume controls and balanced DI output with Pre/Post EQ switching.
The Ashdown US Series cabinets are the perfect partner to this head, creating a massive tone that can shake the foundations of venues,rehearsal rooms and recording studios.
