The Ashdown Spyder 550 rack mounted bass head whacks out a whopping 550W (RMS) of power. Tonally, it combines the warmth of the Ashdowns 427 Small Block all-tube preamp with the dynamics of Ashdowns trusty 500-Watt ABM power stage.
The Ashdown 550 Spyder is packed with features that makes tweaking a doddle, including High and Low gain inputs, front panel-mounted Effects Send and Return,rotary Bass, Middle and Treble controls with Mid Shift, Bass Shift and Bright switching, Mute switch,rotary Gain and Master volume controls,and to top it off,a balanced DI output with Pre/Post switching.
The 550 Spyder has been designed to work seamlessly with the range of Ashdown US Series cabinets.
