The Digitech RP1000 slots perfectly into your existing rig, with both stompbox and amp loops allowing you to connect the RP1000 in a wide variety of configurations. An Amp/Cabinet bypass switch allows you to turn off the RP1000s internal amplifiers/cabinets modellers so your amps tone shines through without interferance.
For simplicitys sake a pedalboard option, which proved popular on the DigiTech RP500, has been included, which turns footswitches 6 through 10 into stompbox style effect on/off controls, with any effects assignable to any pedal. Preset configurations can be saved and recalled quickly and easily, ideal for switching between songs in the live setting.

The aforementioned Phrase Looper included with the RP1000 lets you create on the fly performance loops for practicing, composing,and performing. With a whopping 20 seconds of record time and controls for Stop, Play,and Overdub, different guitar parts can be layered,each with different tones and effects idea lfor crafting song ideas or becoming a one man band.
