The Novation UltraNova is the newest member of the impressive Nova line of synthesizers. Its compact package still packs a punch with the classic Nova sound but brings a whole new level of sound sculpting possibilities with its powerful effects section.

The Novation UltraNova is ideal as a performance synth as all the controls are there right in front of you,allowing you to tweak to your hearts content and really perform with your synth. The onboard sound library is well organised so you can browse by type and musical genre, making your search through the units 300+ incredible sounds a doddle.

By utilizing your DAW you can control the synths parameters and tweak your sound with more of a visual aid, these patches can then be organized in any way you choose with the software patch librarian.

The UltraNova utilizes wavetable synthesis,14 filter types,6 envelopes,3 LFOs,5 effects slots, density/detune and much more to create its incredibly detailed and tweakable sounds and with a clear, no nonsense control interface, the UltraNova is fast and easy to program, just like the analogue synths of yesteryear.

An onboard 2 in 4 out USB Audio Interface is included,allowing you to transfer audio directly to and from your computer. It also has a SPDIF output, MIDI in/out/thru ports (for hardware-to-hardware connectivity).

As an extra added bonus, making this an integral part of your audio system, the UltraNova can be used as powerful controller for plug-ins and DAWs using the new Automap mode.
